Florida Statutes: No person, political committee, or committee of continuous existence may make contributions, monetary or in kind, in excess of $500 per person to any candidate… A person is defined as an individual, corporation, association, firm, partnership, joint venture, joint stock company, club, organization, estate, trust, business trust, syndicate… Children must be over 18 to contribute.

A separate check should be written for each contribution. For example, no "Mr. and Mrs." But, separately Mr. Jones may contribute as much as $500 and Mrs. Jones may contribute up to $500 with separate checks. Also, additional checks may be submitted using the Florida Statutes definitions above.

IMPORTANT: The State has specific requirements regarding information that must be provided by each contributor. If your name and address are not on the check, please add the appropriate information in the Memo section of your check. Also, we are required to have your occupation [e.g. banker, firefighter, homemaker, retired] and CEOs are asked to name their firm.
